The Loya group focuses on coral reef research, specifically on stony coral reproduction and mesophotic coral ecosystems. Our base is located at Tel-Aviv University, Israel.

The main location for our fieldwork is in the Gulf of Eilat and the Mediterranean Sea. Other collaborative research locations are  Japan, Jordan, and Singapore.
